Rosie has been with me few months. She is very sweet, cuddle bug. Loves to put her arm around you while you sit on the floor. She is crate trained and loves to ride in the car. Needs leash skills. Knows few basic commands, recall fairly reliable.

She is an escape artist. She can clear a 4' fence with ease from a sit. She can parkour her way out of a 6' fence. She would excel at agility and with a family with a very active lifestyle. She is not much for sitting around. It may be necessary for her to always be on a leash. She loves romping with the other fosters and would benefit from a playmate. She would make an excellent running companion.

Rosie is very protective and not fond of men. She protects the property as well as the family unit. She is an excellent watch dog. She has negative reactions for delivery people, bikers going by, walkers going by, horses. I think she is very trainable and could be shown that these things are ok, but in the beginning the new adopter has to be aware of where she is. She is very quick!

This dog was rescued from Pulaski County Animal Shelter in Somerset Kentucky. They are a rescue friendly shelter that does it's best to place as many adoptable dogs into no-kill rescues and homes as possible. This sweetie escaped death row and now his empty kennel remains to give one more dog another week.

Adoption fee is $150 and that includes all vetting, including spay/neuter.
