Meet Rosie
Rosie is a 2 year young, black and white pittie mix. After she struggled to get along with the male dog she was placed in a home with, she was returned and has since been waiting.
Rosie absolutely loves hugs and cuddles. She will jump on your lap, wrap her front paws around you and hug you tight. It doesn’t matter if she knows you well, or if she just met you, - she loves you to the fullest extent. When you’re working, Rosie will nap under the table peacefully, or play with a toy on her own. She is so appreciative of just being able to be around others who care about her, and she doesn’t ask for much other than to be by your side. Rosie would surely make an excellent office dog, loyal companion, and family member!
Rosie loves going on the Sunday pack walks where she gets to meet all of the volunteers and give them hugs and kisses! She walks alongside 10-20 dogs perfectly and is non-reactive. She adores everyone she meets.
Rosie is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She is gentle with children. She is dog-selective and does not do well with small dogs or cats. She may be able to be placed in a home with other medium-sized dogs with an owner experienced in decompression and dog-selective dogs, but she would be most comfortable in a home where she can be an only pet.
She needs an angel to save her. If she waits too long, I’m afraid her heart would break in two.
