Rosie is a short, stocky, wrinkle-faced smoocher of a Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull. She is immediately friendly and giddy with excitement with everyone she meets! Rosie came to ARC when a family member advocated for her. She was currently being kept outside 24/7 on could December days. ARC got her signed over with the help of extended family. Rosie was excited to have people get her out of the cold and show her attention. The owners told us they only had her 6 months and she had puppies prior to them taking her "in" from a trailer park. Our vet thinks she has had multiple litters ever since she was a pup herself as her uterus shows lots of wear. Whatever her past, she was a gem of a find! Rosie loves car rides, couch cuddles, & seems to get along great with all other dogs she has met and walked with. Rosie did however have an issue with a female dog when we tried to place her in the home though. They were perfectly fine outside, even when an off leash local dog came up to her she was very friendly with him. Rosie is so people oriented, it may be a jealously issue. Not sure if she would be any different placed in a home with a male dog.Rosie "talks" with pathetic whines and grumbles trying to communicate her wishes with you. This 54 lb shortie is a DREAM of a Pittie! And ohhhhh that wrinkly, smoochable face is so irresistable!!!! Rosie also has the fastest wagging tail in the west when getting hugs! She just can't get enough! She melts in your arms!Rosie has been spayed, has a clean parasite test, is microchipped, vaccinated, and keeps her kennel very clean!
