Rosie's Story
NAME: Rosie
BREED: Aussie/Blue Heeler/Terrier mix
COLOR: Beige, gray, tan
B’DAY: Dec. 2020
TEMPMT: Cutely Energetic
WEIGHT: 60 lbs
HUMANS: Great with adults
CHILDREN: Must be over 12 yrs old/respectful to animals
PETS: Good with cats & dogs
TRAINING: Basic obedience commands
VETTING: Fully vetted, HW neg and spayed
CONTACT: Silverrescue@gmail.com

Rosie is a sweet girl. She loves everyone. Because she is so loving we don't really understand why she keeps being overlooked.

Rosie is happiest when she can be her person’s shadow, working in the garden, going for a walk in the park, riding in the car to the feed store or the car mechanic. She’s never been in a canoe. Wouldn’t that be nice. She just wants to be with her person. That’s all. No matter the occasion.

She's also good with dogs and cats. Of course she needs to be introduced properly and then she reads situations well and quickly adjusts and respects her fellow pet companions.

She loves children so much but because of her exhuberance we suggest children be at least 12 yrs old.

If she is to be a companion dog it might be best to pair her with a male dog although she gets along with some female dogs. Rosie likes cats but they intimidate her. With proper introductions she does well with them.

Rosie has been through obedience school and knows her basic commands of come, sit, stay, down, leave it and NO although she does lose focus when something exciting happens. But doesn't that happen with most dogs?

Her vetting is up to date, heartworm negative and spayed. She is crate trained and house and pottie trained.

Rosie will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Family must own home. No rentals please. Fence required. We request personal and vet references and a homevisit. The adoption fee of $250 is used to save the next abandoned pet like Rosie.

For Rosie’s application please contact SilverRescue@gmail.com
