Meet Rosie
Mild mannered Rosie never really had a puppyhood....she was bred when she was just a puppy herself...and was bred at least once or twice more. She was not a companion...she was just a breeder. By the time she reached the TLC, she was a very frightened, overweight adult gal, suspicious of just about everyone and everything. Her security blanket was Carley, one of her puppies, who came along with her. Mom and pup adjusted quickly, enjoying the comfort of a warm, cozy house and the freedom to go in and out. Rosie is an energetic, lively little gal tipping the scales at l0 pounds, but she is slimming down. She gets along with other small dogs, and is slowly learning what toys are, and that humans can be trusted. Rosie deserves a quiet, stable home where she can receive the love and attention that she has missed. She is becoming quite a snuggle bug, and would make an awesome companion for someone with the motivation to help her reach her potential.
