Meet Rosey! She is a 9-month-old, 50 lb. German Wirehaired Pointer with a heart full of love and energy to spare. This sweet girl is looking for a fresh start after the recent passing of her beloved owner.

Losing her home and family has been incredibly hard on Rosey, and she’ll need an adopter who understands the importance of decompression and can give her the time and space to adjust at her own pace. In her previous home, Rosey wasn’t socialized often, so she’ll benefit from some basic training and gentle guidance to help her build confidence and learn the ropes.

Rosey is a playful, affectionate pup who enjoys romping around the yard and chewing on her favorite bones! She is energetic and would especially enjoy long walks and playtime in a secure, fenced yard where she can safely burn off her youthful enthusiasm. She previously lived with other dogs and children between 8–10 years old.

She’s pee pad trained but still working on full housetraining, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to help her continue learning. With her eagerness to please and zest for life, Rosey will thrive in an active home that can offer her consistent structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of love.
