Meet Rosellen

Rosellen is about 5 years old and about 60+ lbs. She came to us after being found in January 2024 on a road between Tennessee and NC. She had a bad case of heartworms, which she has now been treated for . She is a sweet dog who is housebroken and well behaved indoors. She is microchipped, spayed, and current on heartworm prevention and all shots.

Rosellen is gentle and affectionate. She is an absolute lovebug whose favorite thing in the whole world is getting belly rubs. Rosellen is super smart and would make someone an amazing pet. Rosellen is a hound mix and loves to follow her nose! She's good on a leash and does best with a harness. She is not a jumper and is very gentle. She is fine with other dogs but might do better in a house without an alpha female her own size. She will chase a running cat so might do best without access to one.
