Back in October 2020, our volunteer rescued Rosie with a litter of six.  She was the most gentle mama dog.  She cared for her pups like the Angel that she is.  She loved her babies so much!   Each one of her babies are sweet and gentle, just like her. When the babies found homes Mama Rose was sad to see them go.  

To know Rosie, is to truly love and adore her.  After her babies went to their forever home, she nurtured other puppies and dogs that came along.  She welcomed all of the new rescue dogs, embracing them like they were her very own.  She's happiest when she's able to nurture and be a caring mama dog.  She genuinely enjoys the company of dogs and often romps around and solicits play with them in the backyard.  Most times, she just lays down with them and plays, ever so gently. So sweet!  

We'd love for Rosie to continue giving her special gift.  Her ideal home would be with another dog - if the dog is very gentle and friendly, it would be ideal.  She has a sweet, independent and brave nature, combined with being so kind, loving and gentle with all.  You just won't meet a sweeter dog!  Her mellow and regal nature makes her a great family dog and a wonderful companion. She listens well and walks great on a leash.  She's the perfect dog, a true gem!
