Roscoe was a FAVORITE to many of our staff and volunteers when he came up North over two years ago.
Well, he’s back, and he’s once again, a favorite.
Roscoe is NOT good with kitties and we're looking for a home without cats or small animals for him. He hasn’t lived with other dogs since coming to NH and he’s REALLY big, so, when you ask, “Good with dogs?”, I’ll say, “he’s REALLY BIG, and we haven’t tested him other than walking by and living amongst others at the rescue.”
In his home, he spent a lot of time hiking and going to camp. He loves the woods, loves his people, and LOVES butt scratches.
Roscoe is about 4 years old and 90 lbs. He has double dewclaws and a thick coat…that’s the info we have about breed mix. We’ve always called him an Anatolian shepherd mix, but let’s face it, breeds are NOT our specialty, but knowing excellent dogs, REALLY is!
