SATURDAY, NOV. 8 from 12-3PM: PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Come meet all the DOGS, PUPPIES, CATS & KITTENS waiting for their forever families and let us help you find a new family member!
SATURDAY, NOV. 8 from 12-3 PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in OLATHE (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes!

Meet ROSCOE, a big handsome hunk! Roscoe is a 7 year old Lab mix. He's the sweetest boy! He is very friendly and he loves attention. He has a beautiful coat and a wonderful smile.
Sadly, Roscoe's person passed away, so now this poor guy needs a new home.
Roscoe loves mealtime! He's currently weighing in at 103 lbs, but he needs to lose some pounds to get to a healthy weight. He's easy to walk on a leash and enjoys it, so he'd be up for some daily strolls.
Roscoe is good with dogs and he lived with a cat.
He does need a home without kids-- he prefers his humans to be bigger and calmer.
If you could provide a loving home for this big sweetheart, we'd love to hear from you!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
