Roscoe Mastiff Charles City, VA

Hard to believe, but this big fella was picked up stray and has never been claimed. He is not microchipped. He must have belonged to someone as he was a bit underweight but otherwise in good condition. He also seems to have had some training as he walks on your left side and does not pull too much on the leash. Roscoe went to the vet and was a “rock star” according to her while getting his rabies, distemper, and Bordatella shots, getting his ears cleaned, and getting blood drawn for a heartworm test that was negative. He weighed in at 122 lbs and will be neutered on Feb 6. Roscoe does display a bit of mild dominance with other dogs but is basically unreactive with dogs in his size range. We’re not sure how he would do with small dogs and we know he does not like cats. We see Roscoe in an adult only home with a fenced yard and no other pets, or maybe one other submissive dog.
