Roscoe Bull Terrier Manhattan, KS

Hello! My name is Roscoe and I am the most chill, affectionate and go with the flow kind of guy. Im a 4 year old Bull Terrier and a Colorado springs native. I've had my fair share of adventures and have managed to cross off a few things off my bucket list. I don't want to brag but I think I have this travel thing down.

When we're not out and about conquering the world I like to just relax at home. I’m super affectionate! I love to lay my head on your lap, give kisses, and snuggle next to you on the couch when allowed. Everyone says that in addition to being absolutely cool dude, I am also incredibly sweet and am awesome at making new friends with people and other dogs quickly! I let everyone pet me (so nice!) and I sometimes give kisses when I am extra happy! I like to hang out near my people and will often follow them from room to room, keeping an eye on things, seeing if anything interesting is happening. I like to be next to them either on the floor or on a couch (when allowed)—but definitely in the same room. The big humans are cool they give me lots of pets and the little ones are awesome because they like to share their snacks with me.

I’m pretty smart, I learn commands somewhat quickly (as long as you have treats for rewards!), and thus far know “Sit,” “lay down”, and “High-five!". I'll give you a holler when I really need to go potty or when I'm hungry. Other than that barking is not really my thing.

I am working on learning to not pull on the leash when I get excited – but hey practice makes perfect right? I love to learn with positive reinforcement strategies, and love your attention and let's not forget the treats.

I do some silly things…I bark a little bit when dreaming, I do a happy dance when it’s time to go for a walk, I will play fetch with a squeaky ball and tug with a rope toy until the end of time!

I absolutely LOVE being outside on the grass and running around – ZOOM ZOOM! I don’t like being tied to a lead in the yard, and have figured out how to escape from collars and harnesses when I really want to–even when they are on me nice and snug–and once I wriggle out, I can’t help but to GO-GO-GO! . BUT when it comes to walks/running/ jogging with you I never try to wriggle out of my collar, so that’s safe.

Cohabitation

I currently live with 2 children, ages 2 and 2 months. There's also 2 other fur friends. Theyre a cool bunch I like them.
I have not been around any cats so we aren’t sure if I like them or not.
Favorite Activities

Why I am looking for a new home

I really need a home/ family that likes going on adventures and making friends. My current family is going through some life changes that doesn't allow them to meet my demands and want the best for me.

Medical

For the most part shots are up-to-date, i just need the leptospirosis shot.
I do have a little bit of a history. Sooooo when I was 8 months old I had surgery because I ate one of my toys.. I couldn't help myself! But I made a full recovery so there's nothing to worry about there. Then when I turned one I zoomed a tiny bit too hard and fractured one of my legs BUT I had a cast and was as good as new in no time.

Summary

I will make the most wonderful forever dog to someone who will take me on hikes and walks, play tug with me, and let me run free in a big, fenced in yard! I truly am such a love and incredibly smart, I just need to find the right forever family so that I can be safe and happy and live my very best life!
