Meet Rosalie
Hi, my name is Rosalie! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Goofy, Affectionate, Playful
-Can Live with Kids: No thanks, I can be nippy when my boundaries are pushed. Adults only please!
-Can Live with Cats: No - my prey drive is high, I will most likely chase cats
-Can Live with Dogs: Potentially yes, I may be able to live with a respectful dog my size or larger that can give me space. We'll have to meet at the shelter first to make sure it's a match.
-Can do Apartment Living: No thanks.
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: None, but I have nipped without skin damage.
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, 1 private lesson
-Leash Trained: Yes, but I will pull towards small animals and other exciting things.
-Energy Level: HIGH! Young dog, very active breed.
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
-Additional Information: Rosalie had a rough start to life, arriving at WHS with a severely injured leg from a dog fight that took weeks to heal. She is every inch an Australian Cattle Dog mix - she has the energy, the smarts, the fixation on small animals, and the hair! Her future adopter must have herding breed experience and be an active household. On-leash walks around the neighborhood won't cut it for this girl: she needs to hike, swim, jog, or do dog sports. Sound like the adventure buddy you're looking for? Submit an adoption application for review! Rosy is ready to be your best buddy
