ROONEY came to our rescue recently via the DeSoto County Animal Shelter in Nesbit, MS. where no one came looking for him. When his stray hold was up, he went straight to our vet clinic in Olive Branch, MS just outside Memphis, and the staff immediately fell in love with his super sweet self. The shelter estimated Rooney to be 1 to 2 years old. He was just microchipped and neutered by our vet and has completely healed. By grace, he tested heartworm negative. At intake, he was extremely thin but is slowly gaining needed weight on quality food. We have placed him on monthly heartworm preventative and monthly fee/tick preventative.

Rooney is a very sweet, loving, young, playful Beagle boy with typical youthful Beagle energy and needs an active family who will take him on walks and/or hikes. He would also love to have a buddy to play with. He is adopt ready.
