Meet Roo
Hi!
My name is Roo (the mini human I stay with calls me Roo-Roo). I'm a 50ish lbs, 1.5 yo female lab-something mix. I'm not sure why my first family forgot to take me and left me in the backyard. Because I'm a really good girl. I do well with other dogs, little humans, and bigger humans. I don't know about cats, I haven't met one yet.
I know some basic commands, like "sit" and "down". I'm mostly potty trained and walk ok on a leash. Maybe my new family can help me with some pointers and show me the world isn't scary. Although I don't particularly love going into my crate, I just lay down and wait for you to let me back out.
I also love some snuggles. It will not take me long to call you my friend and follow you everywhere. I live by the motto "you move, I move"
I really enjoy my brush outs. I get them every other day. I'm protective over my treats with other doggies though. Once I learn that there is enough for everyone, I might do better.
My dream family would have time to take me on long walks, and/ or has a fenced in yard. Although I'm ok with other dogs, no more than one fur-sibling in my new family might be best.
