Did You Adopt Roo?

Meet Roo

From her foster mom in Maine: Roo is an 8-month old Heeler mix. She is a sweetheart and love-bug! She is great with our kids (ages 6 and 12), and she has won over every one of our neighbors, their kids, and their dogs. Roo has not been cat tested. She is very active, outgoing, and friendly, and she loves to play and snuggle. Roo walks well on a leash; our 6-year old can easily walk her in the neighborhood and the trails. She does not pull, and she stops when you stop. Roo loves a romp in the woods, staying on trail and walking great on leash on the trail, as well! She is not afraid of mountain bikes and could very well make someone a great trail dog, with some additional training. We have jogged with her a few times to see how she does, and she runs beside or just behind us – overall, this pup is a gem!

Roo is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She will sleep well in a crate but does not use it otherwise.
