Ronin's Story

Ronin is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle champion! Three and a half years old, he absolutely loves exploring the world—so much so that if he spots a secret escape route, he will go on a solo mission. A secure yard is a must for this curious guy! He’s also a bit of a digger and may leave you a few surprise holes in the yard as part of his adventures. But don’t worry—his favorite place is still right by your side.

Ronin is incredibly loyal and will happily follow you from room to room, just to be near his people. He’s gentle, great with kids, and has the sweetest soul. Most of the time he’s a quiet observer, but when he has something to say, he’ll let you know—and it’s pretty adorable when he gets chatty!

Ronin is also bilingual—he understands both English and Spanish, which just adds to his charm!

Ronin isn’t a big fan of the crate and can get a little anxious when left alone, so he’ll do best with a family who can give him reassurance, patience, and plenty of love while he builds confidence. And those “sad” puppy eyes? Total act. This boy is happy, goofy, and full of love—just waiting for a forever family to share it with. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a little adventurous spirit and a whole lot of heart, Ronin is your guy. Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds like me often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. If you’re new to Huskies or similar breeds, we highly recommend doing a bit of research before applying. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt me today!

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
