Ronin Border Collie Mix Austin, TX

Looking for a lovable goofball to brighten your days? Meet Ronin! This sweet, silly boy is the total package: dog-friendly, cat-curious, and full of doofy puppy charm. He's currently crashing with three dogs and two cats in his foster home, and he's doing great with all of them (even the grumpy old dachshund who wants nothing to do with him!).

Ronin is doing a fantastic job learning the ropes of being a house pup! He's mostly house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, and has already picked up fun tricks like "sit" and "shake" (especially if there are treats involved!). He's a quick learner with a curious mind and absolutely loves toys-whether he's tossing them in the air, playing tug, or parading around the yard with his favorite stuffed prize.

He adores his people and likes to keep tabs on you-he's the type of pup who will follow you room to room just to make sure you're doing OK. He's affectionate without being clingy and will lean into you for pets or curl up nearby for a nap after a good play session. He may not be a full-on cuddler yet, but he's got that "check-in" sweetness that makes your heart melt.

Ronin's ideal home? One with someone who's home a good bit, maybe a dog buddy (but he's cool solo too), and a human who's excited to teach him new tricks and continue his training. He's smart, eager to please, and already showing what a brave, happy, and resilient boy he is.
