Meet Romney
Meet Romney on Saturday, April 3rd from Noon to 3pm at the Olathe PetSmart at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society.
Romney is a 2 year old Mastiff mix that weighs 78lbs. He has had a rough start to life and really needs a family that will not only give him time to decompress but also show him what it feels like to be truly loved. Romney originally came to us after roaming highway 635 with his brother who unfortunately succumbed to injuries he sustained before we were able to rescue them. He is a sweet boy but is very sad since his arrival due to his past experiences. Romney is polite on the leash and seems to have had previous potty training. Romney will need lots of love and care from his new family. With the proper support system at home we know he will be the best boy and love his new family with all his heart.
Adoption hours at our shelter: Monday - Friday 9am-4pm, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and some weekend hours. To make an appointment or for more information, please call us at 913-321-1445. If you have a dog, you can also arrange to bring your dog with you to meet our dogs to see if it's a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
