Meet Romeo

Hi my name is ROMEO! I am a 7 month old, neutered male, red heeler. My 4 sisters and I were dumped in Brentwood. I was brought into the shelter after I was hit by a car. My leg was shattered and they had no other choice but to amputate my rear leg. I am doing really well as a tripod, and have come to realize there are some perks to having only three legs!

1)I won’t lift my leg to pee.
2)I won’t jump up on you.
3)You have easy access for belly rubs…(My favorite)!

I am house trained, crate trained and good with children, cats and other dogs. I am a happy boy that loves to cuddle and be near my people. I am not high energy but I do love to play and run in the yard and take short walks. My ideal home would be with someone who wants a sidekick to share their life with and give lots of love and cuddles.
My adoption fee is $375, which includes a health examination, current vaccinations completed, microchip, (and of course, my leg amputation)!!
I’ve received flea and deworming treatments too!
