Hello there! My name is Romeo, the ultimate heartthrob. I’m an 11 month old bundle of joy and love. My foster parents think I have some charming lab/Collie mix in me, which makes me both smart and adorable. I have a playful spirit, loveeee water, and adore my toys but I also know how to wind down and enjoy some good quality nap time. I’m housebroken and comfortable in my kennel as needed. Not only am I super affectionate and sweet, but I get along great with dogs and cats. My ideal home would be to have another dog I can play with at home. Plus, with my winning smile and adorable antics, you'll never have a dull moment with me around. If you're looking for a fun-loving and furry friend, I’m your pup.

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2024 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
