Many of us know the challenges of living with anxiety. When you're a dog - especially an 80 lb dog - anxiety can leave you homeless.
Such is the case with our beloved boy Romeo.
Romeo he has come a long way since he arrived. He'd initially lost a lot of weight due to stress and anxiety. With a combination of a salmon rice diet, Prozac, and daily exercise and attention, Romeo is looking and feeling great.
This big lug is sweet, smart, food motivated and knows sit, down, and speak! He is a strong boy, but walks well on leash.
Romeo loves to play with any type of big plastic ball in the yard and a good chew toy is always welcome. He may do well with another dog in the home (a meet & greet would be required to ensure a happy match).
Romeo needs an adopter that will work with him on separation anxiety and would continue his diet and medication, provide walks and toys and of course love. No cats or small dogs because his size (80lbs) and love of chasing.
Romeo is an amazing dog with terrific qualities. We've gotten him to a good place - he just needs a chance in the right home to show what a great companion he can be.
