Romeo had to have some teeth pulled during his dental, so he eats his kibble softened/mixed with canned food. He still will eat a milk bone though! Right now the vet recommended pain meds until the end of month and to be on life long joint supplements, due to an old minor injury that healed, and arthritis has formed. Romeo does baby the leg on occasion but he doesn’t let it stop him from playing.

“I was a little rusty on my manners when I made it to NY but…I learned how to sit and wait for things. I learned how to go to the bathroom outside (best when kept on a schedule) I can get a little grouchy from time to time but with a good leader and more work on my manners and things, I think I’ll do better. I love to jump up on my people but I am very gentle about it! I’m still learning to sit and wait for an ok to hug but I’m getting there! I just love people! My ideal home is someone who is mostly home, has patience, can guide me and also has time to teach an old dog some new tricks!
