Meet Roman

Roman was dumped in the country of a rural area. He was taken to his foster home which has 3 other dogs, 3 cats, and 2 horses. Roman is a fun loving guy, about a year old, still a puppy in some ways. He loves other dogs and people, gets along with the cats, but hasn't quite figured out the horses yet. He will need to be trained to leave his new cat friends alone because his tendency is to chase (as a game). He learned rapidly to live with the cats in the house and barn. Roman is very smart and learns quickly. He is very shy in new situations but warms up with encouragement. Being dumped and alone made him cautious. He is working on housetraining. Stays outside during the day and inside with everyone else at night. Not crate trained at the moment. Loves to get in the pickup and ride. He barks at people that come to the house. Once he has been told they are okay to be there, he is friendly. Roman is pretty much a blank slate right now. Will be working on basic obedience commands and hopefully a trick or two.
He is a sweet boy, who just wants to love ya. He is described by foster Mom and those who know him as smart, affectionate, obediant, athletic, friendly, fun-loving, cuddle bug and of course, very handsome! This boy has been fully vetted and is seeking his furever. Research this mix shows some very gggrrreat traits Roman could develop into.
