Keep in mind, we are two women with full time jobs, we volunteer to run this Rescue and foster these dogs in our homes. We have families and farms of our own we take care of as well. We will give you all the time we can but, ask for your patience and attention to detail to make the application process flow smoothly and as quickly as possible.
UPDATE: Rollo is very jealous and possessive of his "things" when other dogs are concerned. While he gets along in a pack sitch just fine for the most part, he is easily offended and doesn't like to share his human or toys. He will need to be an only dog in the home, although visiting, camping and social situations could be easily managed with a little care. ~~~~~~~ Rollo is an 8/9 yr old neutered male purebred. He is a very pretty boy, athletic and fit. He is excellent with other dogs and likes all people. He does have a over interest in cats, but he leaves them be outside and with me. I'm told in the home he fixates on them.....He is very good around the horses and has gone on a couple trail rides without incident. His off leash recall is excellent. He doesn't chase chickens or ducks. He likes to play fetch. He isn't nippy with fingers, heels or ankles either so I think he could be ok with older children (over 10). He is very housebroken and is learning to be comfortable in the crate. This is a necessity here for safe nighttime sleeping. He may do just fine in a permanent home in a dog bed next to your bed.
