This stoic young lad is named after Rolo, the viking who became the first leader of Normandy.
Rolo came to us from a rural kill shelter after his sibling got adopted. We just couldn't leave him there all alone.

It was very clear to us that Rolo hadn't known human kindess before Pets and People took him in. He was very shy, and timid. After a few weeks of our staff getting to know him, he's blossomed into such a sweet boy.

He had absolutely no idea what a leash was, or how to behave on it. We would have to carry him outside in order for him to use the bathroom. He was so scared at first. But, now he will happily walk along side you on the leash, and take food from your hand when offered something he likes. :)

Rolo is a young boy, at 9 months old. He is playful and active and likes to carry toys around in his mouth. He absolutely LOVES other dogs. He will play forever if you let him!

He is working on good leash manners and he loves treats. He can be timid at first in new situations but once he is comfortable he will be a fun canine companion!

Adoption fee for all dogs and puppies is $130.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.
