Roger's Story
Roger has been waiting *way* too long for someone to realize he's basically the total package wrapped in fur. Born around December 1, 2023, this Dutch Shepherd/Lab mix has it all: brains, looks, personality, and an award-winning smile that could charm the socks off a cat (not that he's tried… yet).

Roger is a social butterfly with a goofy streak and a heart of gold. He LOVES people and lives for attention—belly rubs, ear scritches, compliments on how handsome he is (he *knows*, but he likes hearing it). If you’re holding a treat, congratulations—you just became his new favorite human. And possibly his legal next of kin.

He’s fast, smart, and ready to learn pretty much anything you throw at him—except maybe how to resist the urge to be your shadow. Whether you're walking, working, or just trying to go to the bathroom alone…Roger is here for emotional support (and snack supervision).

Roger does well with large dogs and polite kids. He’s also okay with some small dogs—let’s just say he’s not entirely sold on those feisty little floofs who think they’re the boss of him. (Roger politely disagrees.) For his comfort, he should be fed separately—we all have our quirks, and his is wanting to enjoy dinner without worrying another pet will try to heist it.

House? Apartment? Yurt? He’s flexible, as long as he’s got enough affection and a soft place to land, preferably your couch, but he'll settle for a soft dog bed ;).

Roger has been waiting over a year for his shot at forever. That’s a *whole year* of smiling at strangers, wagging his tail, and wondering what more he has to do—wear a tuxedo? Learn interpretive dance? Don’t make him go that far. Just meet him.

Est DOB 12/1/23
