Meet Rodin – Your Adventure-Seeking, Fun-Loving Best Friend

Looking for a dog who wakes up every morning ready to seize the day? Meet Rodin, a 65-pound, four-year-old Siberian Husky with an infectious enthusiasm for life. His goofy, playful energy keeps everyone around him laughing—you simply can’t take life too seriously with this guy by your side.

- Energy level? Off the charts. He’s always up for a romp, zoomies, or even a friendly argument with his own tail.
- Dog social? Absolutely. Most dogs can’t resist his charm, and he thrives in off-leash play. On leash, he gets excited and may pull toward other dogs (or a particularly tempting squirrel).
- Training? Yes! He completed a six-week board & train and knows shake, speak, roll over, bang/play dead, touch, spin, place, and leave it. He’s eager to learn and picks things up quickly.
- Ideal home? Wide open spaces where he can roam, explore, and embrace his inner wild spirit. City life isn’t for him—he’s happiest in a rural or suburban setting where adventure is just outside the door.
- Hobbies? Gallivanting, sniffing, hopping, rolling, romping, jumping, snoozing, and generally making every moment an event.
- Room for improvement? He’s still working on not pulling on leash—he just gets excited about the world.
- Small animals? No cats or pocket pets—he has a strong prey drive. Chickens and livestock are fine if properly secured.

His adoption fee is $400, and he is currently living near Portland. Rodin is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

This is a courtesy posting for Rodin. He came into our rescue as a puppy and was adopted four years ago. His current owner is leaving the country and needs to rehome him. We are helping facilitate this adoption on their behalf.
