Rocky American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Raleigh, NC

Rocky has had an inconsistent home in his last 4 years of life. His first owners rehomed him (reason unknown) and now he is with us as a stray - no contact information for the new family was provided on his microchip. The original owner stated that he does not do well with small animals/cats, but does do well with children and other dogs.

Although he is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $400 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.

He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs, we recommend slow introductions over time.
