Meet Rocky
I don't know much about my past before coming into my foster home; but it was scary for me to leave my litter mates and be with humans.
I was a little shy when moved into my foster home, so when I move to my forever I may play shy again. Don't let that fool you though, I'm a great pal once I warm up!
Things that I have enjoyed since moving into a home include: following people around- I never know what new smells they will introduce me! Cuddling on the couch- cuddles on the couch make me happy especially if they come with tummy rubs! Walks- I love sniffing and finding all the spots that other dogs have marked and if I get to meet the other dog that's even better! Recently I also started to like toys, I'm still learning about toys but so far plushies are my favourite!
I have a few bad habits, I should tell you about. If you have warmed the cuddle spot and you leave, I will take the warm cuddle spot; I don't save seats. I sleep well during the night and you will know that... from my snoring! Humans can be kind of messy, I try my hardest to help with this. Humans just leave shoes anywhere, I can always a find better spot to put them but sometimes it's not as easy to find once I've moved them.
I am pretty vocal, I will vocalize how I feel; I won't leave you wondering. I am working on crate training; I do well during the night but when I hear someone home during the day sometimes I try to encourage them to take me out. I am almost fully house trained, I've had a few pee accidents. I am learning commands; so far I know my name, sit, off, come, leave it, lay down. I find it helpful when you pair commands with hand signals. I am learning to walk on a leash, I long lead walk well and am getting better and walking next to a human on short lead. I am not too concerned about food, I will leave food in my bowl and will come back to it later when I am hungry again.
Adoption fee is $495 (200 is refunded upon proof of neuter). He is microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated and has received a wellness exam.
