Rocky Pit Bull Terrier Mix Alexandria, VA

Hi! I'm Rocky, and I am looking for my furever family! Here's a bit about me...I'm super inquisitive and I will stay right beside you until you include me in whatever you are doing! I'm a pretty active boy and love to get all sorts of exercise- mental + physical. I have a very strong nose and can find a tennis ball hidden under any piece of furniture! Speaking of my skills, I also know "sit", "come", "kisses" (if you're into that kind of thing), "drop", and "ball" while we play fetch. I'm easy to walk on a leash and I'm very gentle when it comes to taking treats. I love to run (I'm small but fast) and play outside with my foster brother, but I also like to be top dog when it's time to snuggle, which is a lot of the time! I'm a little spoiled when it comes to getting on furniture, but I'm also happy in my crate as long as there is a nice bed in there. I sleep through the night and I'm potty trained, but I do snore a little when I'm tuckered out. A lot of things are new to me and I'm very inquisitive so I like to sniff and investigate. I only bark sometimes, like when I want to come inside from the yard, but not so much at the delivery guys that come to the door. Bath time isn't my favorite but I just put on a sad face and pray for it to be over soon. I do like getting dried off with a towel; it's a pretty fun game. I love treats and food and am willing to learn just about any new trick if it means food is involved! I have a huge brain and am super smart, which my foster mom said makes training me super fun. I also love a good chew toy, and I know what I should chew (toys) and what I shouldn't chew (your things and furniture!).
