Meet Rocky

Rocky needs an experienced dog owner who is willing to work with him and earn his trust. Once that happens he will be the most amazing and loyal friend. He would do best in a house with a fenced in yard where he can run and play ball.
Rocky needs a home who is willing to work with a positive reinforcement trainer- he gets nippy at time (probably the cattle dog in him) and can be pretty persistent. Until this behavior is taken care of he is looking for a home without kids! With a consistent routine and direction this behavior should subside quickly. Our trainer is happy to work with anyone interested in getting to know Rocky. This poor boy deserves his forever home.
He is house trained, crate trained, and very food motivated making him a good candidate for training!
On walks, he is great when encountering people and walking past other dogs, even if they’re barking at him. He does pull when he sees a particularly enticing squirrel (not all squirrels) but can be redirected. He has no interest in chasing anything else like birds. He is happy to calmly walk up and greet people on walks too!
Adoption Fee is $150
He is up to date on vaccines and has had a wellness exam, heartworm tested and micro-chipped.
