Hi! I am Rocky (aka Rockeroo, Rocketman)!!!
I am an eternally happy, enthusiastic guy that would love to have a place to call my own! I love to play and run but am equally happy to just hang out on the couch and get some love!



I havent had much of a home life up to now - I was rescued from life on the end of a chain down south, but since I have been with my foster mom, I have learned really quickly how to behave and make her laugh! She says I am a big Goofball..I know that really means Handsome Boy, so I agree with her and do some more jumps and leaps to show her what an athletic guy I am! I just KNOW that if I had the right home, I could be a great housedog and best friend! I am a HUNK of good-looking dog and weigh about 80lbs. Mom thinks I am about 4 years old, I am housebroken, crate trained and get along with everyone I meet.as long as they arent CATS!!! (They just look like they would be great fun to chase!) I am neutered, up to date on my shots and would love to live with someone that I can hang out with. I am smart and learn new things easily (especially if there is FOOD involved) and I really like to make people happy.
I seem to like most other dogs, as long as they are nice to me and can handle playing with a dog my size and give respect and deference. I am not a dog park kind of guy...too much stimulation and too many personalities, but I would like to have a good friend to romp and play with. Being an only dog would be great too. I think my IDEAL home would be a young active guy/gal that could wrestle around with me and would appreciate a young guy to hang out with! (I could be his wingman - after allthe ladies LOVE me)..or an active person that needs a companion to jog with would also be a good fit. A family with older kids would also be great (more people to pet and love me!!), as long as they didnt have small kids.I am just too big and happy and although I would never hurt any of my family on purpose, I sometimes forget that my tail is a lethal weapon and it just wags ALL THE TIME! Toddlers would likely go flying like bowling pins and I wouldnt even know! So in realityI would be a good fit for almost anyone as long as they dont have small children or CATS (eww!).. Ideally, my new owner understands guardian breeds and is able to impose boundaries and establish themselves as the alpha, making us BOTH happy.
