Hi, I’m Rocket, a little 8-lb Pom full of kisses and fun!

Many months ago, I was found as a stray and taken in by the shelter… although they hid me from the public because I was in such bad shape. Thankfully, a rescuer saved me and I’ve been getting all fixed up ever since!

I was emaciated when I was rescued last year but that was the least of my issues. I had a terrible skin infection and didn’t have much hair. Sadly, I also had a few ear infections that were left untreated for so long that you couldn’t see in my ears. I’m happy to report that the ongoing treatments with the dermatologist have greatly improved my skin. And my ears are now much better too, so I can finally hear! However, I won’t ever be able to accompany you on a plane because my ears will never be normal. And I’ll need ear solution weekly for the remainder of my life, as well as ongoing follow up appointments with the dermatologist… but as long as I’m loved, I’m alright with this, and I hope you are too.

I also had a dental recently and now I’m all ready for my forever home. I need someone dog savvy who will keep a close eye on my skin and ears and remember to take me to the dermatologist. Although I’ve had a really rough start at life, my foster says I’m very special and easy to love. Will you take a chance on me? I’m utd on all shots, neutered, approximately 9 years young, potty-trained, LOVE other dogs and am quite dapper if I do say so myself!
