Our facility is open for adoptions by appointment. Please complete the adoption questionnaire found at this link https://form.jotform.com/211596541894163 . Once we have received your completed questionnaire someone will be in touch to set up an appointment for you to come in and meet the pet(s) you are interested in. If you have questions prior to completing the questionnaire please email info@clarkshelter.org or call (859)737-0053. Appointments will not be scheduled until the questionnaire is completed. This process can typically be completed the same day or by the next day depending on appointment availability.

Rocco was surrendered to the shelter because his owner moved to a camper and Rocco was living outside. Rocco is very sweet and loves people. His foster describes him as a velcro dog. He is good with other dogs but will be looking for a home without cats. He is housebroken but may need a refresher after living outside. Rocco has some skin issues which can be expected with Bulldogs, especially one that has lived outdoors. He is currently under treatment and we feel he will continue to improve drastically with a better diet and some overall TLC.

We are looking for someone with previous Bulldog experience and a current, established relationship with a veterinarian as this guy will likely need some ongoing care to get him where he needs to be.
