It has been said that the older you get, the better you get…unless you’re a banana. Well, Batman and Robin are definitely not a couple of bananas. They are the sweetest bonded pair (father and son) looking to spend their golden years getting as many cuddles as possible, and dreaming about chasing squirrels while napping (on a comfy bed, of course).

At 13 years old, Batman is thoroughly enjoying his retirement from a long career of breeding while Robin, 8 years old, is enjoying being his dad’s world-class sidekick. Robin is always keeping an ear out for his dad who doesn’t hear quite as well as he used to.

Like true superheroes, they are house-trained and are too mature to chew on your shoes…or furniture…or… anything really. They have learned that what doesn’t smell like a treat is not worth their time or energy. Both pups get along with kids and another small resident dog, but as brave as Robin is, he gets nervous around big dogs.

Batman loves to chill outside in the yard and relax while being fed soft treats. Robin being on the younger side, prefers to chase a ball or jump in your lap for quality snuggles. These two Chihuahua mixes love belly rubs and will soak up all the attention you can give. Rest assured that they will reward you with unconditional love and loyalty. Batman and Robin have been sending out the bat signal for 10 months in search of the perfect forever home! While they are grateful to be safe at SCCR, they would love nothing more than to find a family to call their own. Come and meet this dynamic duo. They are sure to capture your heart. �
