River Buddy Hound & Boxer Mix Springfield, MO

Someone told me... "Be like a river. Be open. Flow". My names is River Buddy, a 52 pound Hound/Boxer mix and I now live by this motto. I go with the flow! I just turned 1 year old! I am house, crate, and leash trained. I am a such a good boy also a big goof ball of fun! I am graduating the Pups for Parole training program. I am super smart and have learned some great new skills. I am so excited to show you all that I know and to continue to practice all my training with you! I play well with other dogs after proper dog introductions. I also am happy to just hang out and relax or play with my toys. I think a family with older respectful kids would be a wonderful fit for me. A house with a fenced yard would be best for me, however I have good leash skills, so if I have a safe place to have plenty of walks I could do well without a fence. No apartments for me, however. I just want to be with my people so someone who is home more than not or would love to take me on adventures with them would be so much fun!

I do have a previous injury from being shot in the hip when I was a smaller puppy. The bullet fragment is still there. It does cause me to limp at times and I do best with taking supplements for my joints.

I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I've learned!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
