River Pit Bull Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet handsome River. He is 3 years old and weighs around 40 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped! He doesn't have any special needs or take any medications.

He’s crate trained, potty trained, and good with kids and dogs of all sizes! He is leash trained but when he is finished he will plop down. But hey, when you're tired, you're tired, right? We don't hold it against him.

He loves to be outside. He’s happy watching squirrels in the backyard, going for a walk, or snuggling on the sofa and will want to rest his head on you. He is pretty low energy but he does have a playful side and likes to play with toys.

He absolutely loves his humans with all his heart, but River would do best in a home without men. He does just fine interacting with men out and about, but we've learned he is most comfortable in a home without them. He’s the best boy with great manners. River loves to be near you and will follow you wherever you go. He is a reliable guy who can be left home alone.

His new family will need to be patient and allow him a couple days to decompress as he’s sometimes stressed when moving from one home to another. Once he feels safe, his silly personality will shine bright!
