Meet River

Our lucky girl River has had an unfair and difficult life before she came to us, but is a survivor at heart and a true fighter. She was found neglected and starving on a vacant property in Baltimore with her sister, who unfortunately died. Since River has been safe in our care, she has been working hard to gain weight and overcome her fears. Through it all, her loving, sweet nature has continued to blossom and we are overwhelmed at her resilience. In this second chance of life, she needs to be the only animal in a home where she can be the one and only to a forever family who will give her all the patience and love she deserves and will be committed to helping her build her confidence. This sweet girl has not given up. Make all her dreams of love and happiness come true.
