We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. A physically fenced in yard is required to adopt her.


Meet Riva!! After traveling all the way from South Carolina, this gorgeous 11 month old black lab girl is looking for a home to call her own.

Riva is a funny and playful girl! She will keep you laughing as she plays with toys (which she loves) and the occasional sock (don’t worry - she doesn’t destroy them). She is amazing with other dogs and enjoys playing with them and running around in the yard. She will need to go to a home with a physically fenced yard. Riva also loves going for walks and does great on a leash! Being your classic lab, Riva loves water and one of her favorite activities is playing in the kiddie pool.

Riva is housebroken and crate trained. She stays in a crate during the day while her foster works, and sleeps on a dog bed at night.

Riva loves people and is great with kids. When she’s not playing, she loves to be near you soaking up the affection. Ear scratches and belly rubs? Riva says, “yes please!!” She comes when you call her and has learned to sit. She loves treats, which will make it incredibly easy to teach her even more!

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
