RITZ's Story

Ritz arrived at the shelter in June of 2025 as a precious 6 month old German shepherd mix puppy who had been thrown from a moving vehicle. Luckily he was not injured and he didn’t let this dampen his sweet personality. Ritz was quickly adopted and but was returned to the shelter six months later by his family. Volunteers can't understand how they could give him up, but young dogs require a lot of attention and exercise and perhaps the family was too busy. Ritz is playful and knows how to sit, and he's eager to learn and be a good companion. He is up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and already neutered and microchipped. Come meet this sweet boy in kennel 833, his ID is 10114.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
