Meet Rita
Meet Sweet Rita!
Rita was rescued off the euthanasia list from the Lancaster shelter. She was dumped while very pregnant, and gave birth while in the shelter. Sadly, all of her puppies passed away within a few days. Despite this horrific ordeal, Rita has been so loving and playful with everyone she meets.
Rita has been a perfect dog from day 1. Her absolute favorite activity is carrying a ball or toy in her mouth! She is incredible with people of all ages, and loves dogs. Shes a sweet and easy going dog that would make a wonderful addition to any home!
Rita is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 86 pounds.
