Meet Ripley
Ripley is 2.5 years old and now weighs 56 pounds. He hasn’t had much of a good life. He came to the shelter as a neglect case. Ripley was very emaciated and heartworm positive. His previous owner got him when he was a puppy, Ripley then spent the next 2 years of his life on a short chain, which was also his collar. It’s no wonder why Ripley loves attention, he’s never had it. Now that he’s recovered from heartworm treatment and gained a few pounds, he is ready to find his fur ever family. This playful boy needs someone that will have the patience to help him learn some manners for living in a home. He’s playful and seems to get along well with his kennel mates, but a meet and greet will be necessary, he can be a little overly friendly. Ripley would do best in a home with older children as he hasn’t yet learned not to jump on humans. Cats are unknown.
