Meet Ripley
Hi, my name is Ripley! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Athletic, smart, energetic, people-oriented
-Can Live with Kids: Ripley is a strong, jumpy dog, but we think he could probably live with kids of any age, with the knowledge that they will likely get knocked over from time to time. Everyone will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they all get along!
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history- will need slow, supervised intro. May chase- confident cat would likely be best.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes - Ripley has been social with dogs at the shelter, but he will need to be well-matched with a dog of similar size, temperament, and intensity of playstyle. Ask for more details!
-Can do Apartment Living: Potentially with PLENTY of exercise and mental stimulation. Ideal home has a large fenced yard, but this is not required.
-Potty Trained: Appears to be! Ripley has been observed to be a marker, but this behavior is likely to be positively affected by his upcoming neuter.
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, one private lesson.
-Energy Level: High!!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter
-Additional Information: Ripley is an awesome young dog who would make a great adventure buddy. Energetic and goofy, life with Ripley will be nonstop laughs! Ripley will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation to be happy. He's very food motivated, so things like food puzzles, Kongs, snuffle mats will be a great way to keep him occupied if you need an hour or two of quiet time during the day. Ripley would be a great match for an active family looking for a buddy to come along with them on all their adventures!
