Riley Pit Bull Terrier Vassalboro, ME

Riley was saved from euthanasia in February and is ready to make her way to Maine but she needs an adopter or foster first!?



She’s the cutest, cuddliest little squish! Riley’s ideal home would be a couple or a single person with no other pets (for now) who works from home until she feels more comfortable. We can assume she came from an abusive breeder and has never been shown love or given anything of her own. She loves her people hard, but is also just as happy to entertain herself. She is very entertaining and loves to be silly & play! She will get the occasional zoomies but overall is a medium to low energy dog. She was very timid at first but opened up and trusted quickly, especially with treats ?.



She has been progressing since starting with a trainer and is now able to be crated for a couple hours and will go to sleep! She hasn’t chewed while left roaming and is almost fully potty trained! She does fine walking near other dogs but is still working on her resource guarding tendencies. We practice every day & she is so smart and treat motivated — she’s a quick learner!



Riley deserves the best, and is truly such an easy dog. I hope the rest of her life can make up for the first few terrible years ?.
