Meet Riley, a resilient young pup with an inspiring spirit. He was found as a stray, and it’s clear he’s been through a lot. At some point, he was hit by a car, and it took a kind soul three weeks to earn his trust enough to get him to the vet. His leg had healed in an awkward position, causing him a lot of pain, but Riley never gave up and kept walking on it. Unfortunately, the leg couldn’t be saved, so we made the decision to amputate. The very next day after surgery, Riley’s energy completely shifted—his eyes lit up, he was wagging his tail, and it was clear he felt so much better. Despite the loss of a leg, he’s still fast and full of life.
Riley is just a normal, energetic puppy in every other way. He knows basic commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “paw,” and he’s fully house trained. He loves to entertain himself with toys and enjoys being active. He’s happier and more comfortable without the leg, and what he really needs now is a loving home and continued care. Riley doesn’t want pity—just someone who will love him for the amazing, playful pup that he is.

As an adoption fee-based rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fundraisers. Our adoption fee of $350 (Non-Refundable) covers transport, which is arranged post-adoption, and is tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
