- Likes playing in water and chasing tennis balls

- LOVES playing with tennis balls and plays fetch with his foster family every day

- Enjoys being close to his people and doesn't totally understand personal space yet, but he's working on it!

- Knows sit and is VERY food motivated; is a great listener and would be fun to train

- Enjoys going on walks and does best with a harness; has been making great progress on his leash manners in his foster home

- Has done well with a crate in his foster home

- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for him (mature home recommended)

- Can be very uncomfortable and unsure of how to act around other dogs; needs to be the only dog in his home right now

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
