Meet Riley
Are you looking for a low key roommate that won't leave their dirty dishes in the sink or their dirty socks on the floor? One that likes to hang out and watch football but also doesn't mind going out and tossing the ball around for a bit? One that can be chill at times but still likes to have fun?
Look no further! Riley is your guy!
Riley is a very handsome 11 lb chihuahua-rat terrier mix. He is potty trained (which is saying more than some roommates I've had...), crate trained, walks nicely on a leash and has great manners. He's way past the puppy chewing stage, so you don't have to worry about your shoes getting destroyed or your mail being shredded. Although Riley is 11 yrs old, he has the spunk of a much younger dog. He likes to go on walks, play fetch and play with toys. (He keeps up just fine with his 5 yr old canine foster brother.) Riley also enjoys crawling under a blanket with you and binge-watching Netflix. It's rumored that he has a howling good time watching Jeopardy-Literally! But he'll let you choose what to watch, he never complains.
Riley has always been an "only child" so he does well as an only dog. But he doesn't mind having another small dog around as long as they aren't too bossy. He really prefers the company of his person most of all. No small children. They get too handsy and make him nervous.
Riley might be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he will be your BFF and the best roommate you have ever had. He's really a great guy! Fill out an app on Riley today!
The suggested adoption donation for Riley is a minimum of $125 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers.
