Ridge Beagle & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Bethel, CT

Meet Ridge, a handsome two-year-old, 42 lb. beagle/pit mix who came to our rescue in Connecticut from South Carolina after being found as a stray. He was found with some scars so we're not sure what happened in his past but he's now safe and loved in his foster home awaiting his happily furever after!

Ridge is a big ball of fun - with an energetic and spunky personality, he's always up for an adventure! He LOVES his toys, zooming around the yard, and playing, especially with other dogs. Ridge is nervous when meeting new people so he needs a slow and patient approach. He enjoys being by your side and is an affectionate boy once he gets to know and trust you. You can't help but fall in love!

He is learning basic manners (jumping, mouthing) and will need an adopter committed to positive reinforcement training. Ridge is very food motivated, making him a great student for further training. He isn't too fond of being left alone so adopters not gone long hours are preferred. He will also need an adult only home (he gets too excited and nippy with children) with a fenced yard.
