Foster comments:
Riddles and Rainybow came from the same litter, brother and sister. There has never been an issue at all with littermate syndrome. They're nothing but big babies. They've also never been separated before. They are around 5 years old, supposed to be a lab/husky mix HOWEVER do not let the husky part scare you away, they show zero traits of a husky besides the long hair.
They do both need leash work. They've never been leashed just always had free run to go in and out as they please through a doggy door because they have a fenced in yard. They absolutely LOVE cats. They currently share a home with one.
Neither one of them likes to be brushed, it was always a struggle for my aunt but she always managed to get it done.
These dogs aren't just my fosters, they belonged to my aunt who passed away a few months back. One thing that I do hope for is that the adopters will be willing to send occasional updates or if something happens and you just wanna share I'd absolutely love it as I am extremely attached to these babies.
They both live with other dogs right now but truly just love each other so I think a home where they can be the only two dogs would be awesome.
I do hope you understand how big of a change this will be for them and how long it may take for them to decompress and adapt to a new environment. Especially Riddles. Just please be patient with them.
Riddles is a big wuss. If you move too fast he might piddle. He's a little weary of new people at first, especially men. Women he will take right up with but with some men it could take weeks. No clue as to why, my aunt had them since they were 3 months old. They've never experienced any type of neglect till now which is just not being loved on, they get hardly any attention. He's honestly kinda just like a nervous wreck, scared of his own shadow.
Rainybow reminds me of a wet noodle, she kinda just melts in your lap and goes limp while she's getting loved on. She really is the biggest baby ever. One of the sweetest, most gentle dog I've ever met. She also LOVES water. The creek is her favorite place to be.
